Italian weather in autuman 6th November 200
It has been a terrible week in this area of Italy. It has not rained for what seemed like weeks, and then the other Monday the rain came down like cats and dogs, and very big cats and dogs that had been eating a lot of pizza too. Pieveva come dio a mandata - it had rained as if god had sent it.
So, it rained hard in Siena, and then it passed. However, further north in Tuscany it caused terrible mayhem and death. It hit worst in Liguria causing at least 9 deaths.

This is the beautiful area of Conque Terra - my wishes go out to them all. It is an area that Dawn loves - I have never been but I hear it's amazing.
Even today the rain continues unabated. Today in Genoa there has been more rain which has caused
flash flooding which has resulted in 6 deaths. Terrible stuff.
